New to Wintersburg Presbyterian Church?

New to Wintersburg Presbyterian Church

We are glad that you found your way to our Wintersburg Presbyterian Church website. Wintersburg just celebrated 110 years of a long and storied history of God’s goodness and faithfulness. Beginning in 1904 when missionaries reached out to a group of young Japanese celery workers in Huntington Beach to today as we seek to minister God’s love and truth to Japanese and Asian American families in Orange County, we have seen the Sovereign hand of God guiding and directing our church.

Welcome to WPC

We are a congregation of approximately 500 members. What many appreciate about Wintersburg is that we are a multi-generational family that ranges in age from infants to members that are 100 years old. We also are a church that is multi-ethnic. While we have a Japanese-speaking worship service (Nichigo) at 9:00 am, our two services at 8:00 am and 10:20 am are in English.

Our ultimate desire is to honor and glorify the Lord. Our Core Values states that “We are a Christ-centered Church, affirming the authority and inerrancy of the Bible, called to serve God through worship, believers through nurture and the world through witness. We truly desire to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ and daily grow in our understanding of what it means to be a devoted follower and disciple of Jesus Christ.

As you view our website you will find that we have many ministries and activities for all ages that help us learn more about God, grow in fellowship with one another, and fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask any of our staff.
