The Senior Fellowship Ministry
The Senior Fellowship Ministry provides an opportunity for older adults to meet together in fellowship and worship once a week. In the 16 years that it has been in existence, the Ministry had grown to where more than 90 people consistently meet each week. New friendships are formed in a warm and loving atmosphere. Many people have been introduced to the church, have heard the Word and have accepted the Lord through mentoring programs.
Each meeting includes Bible study, prayers, devotionals, praise songs, helpful hints, exercises, a featured program (guest speakers on various issues of particular interest and concerns of senior adults, musical entertainment, videos, or mind-challenging games), and a delicious lunch. There are occasional day trips to places of interest in Southern California (stage shows, botanical gardens, museums, etc).
The Senior Fellowship meets every Wednesday from 10:00AM to 1:00PM in the social hall from September through June. The Bible study meets from 9:00 to 10:00AM in one of the classrooms adjacent to the social hall.
