The Epistle - December 2017 - Vol. 22, No. 10

3 Stewardship Report as of October 31, 2017 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones. Honor the Lord from your wealth and from the first of all your produce; so your barns will be filled with plenty and your vats will overflow with new wine. Proverbs 3:5-10 Here is the Financial Report Summary for the 10 Months Ended: October 31 YTD October 31, 2017 Ministry Operational Budget Income $ 133,987 $ 1,065,808 Ministry Operational Budget Expenses 119,429 1,063,581 Ministry Operations Net Income $ 14,558 $ 2,227 EKG Project Income $ 13,313 $ 161,211 Ministry Operations Compared to October 2016, giving to Ministry operations is down about $7,000. The foundation for the 2017 Ministries Budget is our hope that God will provide $1,385,000 for 2017. In order to hit this target, we are looking to the Lord to provide a total of $319,000 over the remaining two months of 2017. For 2017, Wintersburg has successfully fulfilled its missional commitment to Lifesong Community Church and to City Bible Church. The sum of the giving to these two churches is $72,000 through October 2017. EKG Project We are carefully monitoring our expenditures related to the EKG project. We are hopeful the project will be finished early next year (2018). Giving to the EKG project is down by about $48,000 when compared to 2016. We believe when our people see the gymnasium nearing completion, giving will return to previous levels. Beginning November 2017, we will start making monthly payments on the two loans we have from First Citizens Bank. The total of these monthly payments is about $17,000. Many of you do tax related giving as the calendar year nears its end. If the Lord so moves you, please consider giving to both Ministries and Operations, and the EKG Fund . We are a people of God, dependent on Him to supply all our needs. As God’s people, we will continue to glorify Him and enjoy our blessed rela- tionship with Him. We will continue to worship Him through our tithes and offerings. We will continue to place our trust firmly in our Lord, as we fulfill His calling for our church. What a joy it is to call upon Him as Lord! In Christ, Pastor Fred =
