Nothing Is Impossible With God

“But, Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

The NBA basketball season is winding down and the playoffs will begin in the next two weeks. Being a Golden State Warriors fan, this has been a challenging year as the team stands just above the .500 percentage mark. Although the Warriors are a long shot to win another NBA Championship I am reminded that Jesus said, “…with God all things are possible.”

Time and again, God gave proof of the impossible. Moses lacked confidence because of his poor speaking skills and yet God made it possible for him to lead the Israelites out of Egypt.

God also made it possible for Sarah to give birth to a son even though she was beyond the years of childbearing.

David killed a giant with a tiny stone all due to the wisdom God bestowed upon him.

Daniel was thrown into the Lion’s den but came out unscathed.

Peter walked on water, (until he took his eyes off Jesus)

Mary, a virgin, gave birth to the Son of God.

Thought For Today: What makes you think your situation is Impossible?” Are you facing a seemingly impossible situation? There is nothing too outrageously impossible for God. Because of Him, all things are completely possible.

Today’s Prayer Focus: Praise God that He is the God of the impossible. Commit your impossible situation to God knowing that with God, all things are possible. Deo Volente.
