WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Root. Grow. Bloom.

The heart and the hope of the Wintersburg Women’s Ministry is that the multigenerational community of women at Wintersburg will:

take ROOT together in Christ, His Word, and His community,

GROW together in our love of God and of our neighbor, 

and BLOOM together to spread the seed of the gospel out into the world.

We seek to grow and encourage women of all ages in their faith, worship, and service through Bible study, fellowship, and discipleship. We offer a weekly women's Sunday School class, as well as other various women's events throughout the year.

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
