More like Jesus…

“For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:22

The Vision Statement that members of the church have been working on for the past 18 months under the leadership of Pastor Dave Young states:

“We are a family seeking to glorify God by becoming like Christ, declaring and demonstrating his love to others, restoring hope to neighbors, families, and community.”

Not too long ago I received an email from a friend that stated, This year I want to be more like Jesus:

Hang out with sinners

Upset religious people

Tell stories that make people think

Choose unpopular friends

Be kind, loving, and merciful

Take more naps on boats
