No Detail Is Too Small With God

“Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:7

I need a haircut!!! Typically I get a haircut every two months or so. My last haircut was in Monterey in the middle of July. Now that I’m in Orange County, I need to find a new place to get my haircut.

Some people have a hard time believing that God is interested in the details of our lives. But Luke 12:7 tells us that God knows the number of hairs on our head.

No detail of our lives is a small detail to God. Not only does God know the details of our lives but he cares about every detail of our lives. Nothing is a small detail to God.

When you rejoice God rejoices. When you hurt, God hurts. This means that God knows how we are feeling and what we are up to. He knows what we are thinking and what we desire. He knows our joys and our sorrows. He knows our victories and our defeats. He knows our anxieties and how confident we feel. That’s why we can share everything with Him; that’s why the gift of prayer is such a wonderful gift.

For the basic premise of praying is this: we can share anything and everything with God because He cares and He listens (1 Peter 5:7). He never tunes us out. He is always there for us.

Today’s Prayer Focus: Let God know what you are thinking and what your are feeling. Pray for His hand of blessing over your life and His touch of love in your heart. Pray for His wisdom and for His will to be done. Give Him praise and thanks for being the God of every detail of your life and always wanting what is best for you.
