God Has a Plan

For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

Today, Pastor Ryan, Mao Sensei and I are at the Moraga Presbyterian Church in Moraga, CA. Yesterday Mao was examined by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Committee on Ministry to come under the care of the EPC as he seeks to be ordained as an EPC pastor. For Mao, this process will probably take about 2 years.

This afternoon at around 5 P.M. Mao will be examined on the floor of the Presbytery as to his calling and readiness to become an ordained minister. This is a significant day in Mao’s life as he takes a huge step in fulfilling God’s calling for his life.

Have you ever wondered if God has a plan for your life? And how do you know that God has a plan? The secret to learning about God’s plan for your life is found in His presence. We need to practice Jeremiah 29:13. We have to seek God with all of our hearts.
